Q: How do I register for the convention? |
A: You have two options. To pay by credit card, go to the online registration form, fill it out and pay via PayPal. Or print out a registration form PDF document and mail it to:

Q: After I register and pay for tickets, when do I get them? |
|
A: Tickets will be available for you at the registration desk when you first enter the convention ballroom. Tickets are NOT being mailed. |

Q: How much are tickets? |
|
A: Tickets are $50 each. Ticket purchase gets you admission to all events including: Both the Rocky Horror and Shock Treatment screening with an All Star Cast of performers form around the country, Friday night's theme party, special guest attendees from the film and the play, dealer tables, memorabilia raffles and auctions, trivia contest, costume contest, special preshow numbers, rare footage screenings, and Sunday morning's bagel breakfast in Central Park. |

Q: Can I purchase a ticket just for the midnight Rocky Horror screening? |
|
A: Tickets for the screening of Rocky will be available Saturday night at the Ziegfeld. |

Q: Can I register more then one person at a time? Can I have multiple registrations on one form? |
|
A: Due to some contractual obligations, we need to have a seperate registration form for each person attending the convention. If a group of people (a cast, or a couple) would like to register, you can submit a registration form for each person, but send in only one paypal payment or check. Please list on the check or paypal form who the payment is for. |

Q: I am interested in performing Rocky Horror at the convention. How do I apply? |
A: In order to perform at the convention you must first register. After registering please submit photos of yourself in costume and a short paragraph about your performance history. To submit photos send a separate email to casting@nyrockycon.com with URLs to specific pictures or as attachments. Alternatively you can send them snail mail to:

Q: I am interested in performing in Shock Treatment at the convention. How do I apply?
|
A: Follow the same directions as above, however send you email and photographs to STatNYROCKYCON@AOL.COM. You must have a full costume for your part and your registration must be paid in full before you are considered. |

Q: My cast would like to perform a preshow number at the convention. Are there any guidelines? How do we apply? |
|
A: Send an email to contact@nyrockycon.com saying which cast you are from and a breif description of the preshow, how many people are involved, and how long it is. In general prehsow numbers should be under 10 minutes long and should not suck. Props and sets are allowed, however there is limited setup time and performance space.

Q: How does the casting process work? |
|
A: The roles in Rocky and Shock Treatment will be split as equally as possible, so that all the performers for each role have equal stage time. Send us your costumed photos (see above), and any particular requests. All pictures and requests must be submitted by June 1st in order to be considered. Casting will be posted July 1st on the website. You must be at least eighteen to perform, due to theater policy and liability issues. |
